| New 1/3/2002 | This is a second page of some more photos of models within my collection, added in March 2002. Hope you like them Robin |
|
CDC This is the ready made 1/72 Hummer from CDC Armour. This one was in a white UN scheme bu I chose to repaint it. At some point I will add the rest of the 3 colour scheme.

CMSC The Seddon Atkinson Strato is one of the superb 1/76 resin and white metal models from Continental Model Supplies Company. It's big, even in this scale, and the interior of the cab is neatly detailed as well.

CMSC 1/76 Bedford MW wireless, with the aerial base on the front of the roof. Resin kit with metal details. Makes up nicely

Al.By. 1/72 Partly armoured Sdkfz 10, mounting a 50mm Pak 38. It makes up into a beauty, and Al.By. Have long remained quite deservedly as one of the finest resin model producers for many years.

SdKfz 251/17 D Another beautiful 1/72 resin model from Al.By., including a brass gun barrel. The mounting for this AA gun is very neatly done, and the whole thing compares well if put alongside oneof the Hasegawa plastic kits.

T72A from Cromwell Models in 1/76 In their full Collectors series, the T72A, complete with characteristic Gill armour makes up well. The only problem I have with this is in the number of times I have knocked off one of the armour "gills" and had to replace them.

SHQ ISU 152 This all metal 1/76 model comes from SHQ, who have made a good job of it. The hull/chassis is common with their IS2 gun tanks, but the superstructure fits on easily, after a couple of details are removed from the hull. All is detailed in the small instruction page that comes with it. Late war finish here, and pastels used for the weathering.

SHQ Komintern tractor Another all metal 1/76 kit from SHQ, to go with their Russian 203mm howitzer. Simple enough to put together and it gets the look of the basc nature of the original.

SHQ Heavy Artillery One of the most impressive pieces of artillery available in small scale. This metal 1/76 model has optional barrels to make up either a 21cm or 17cm version.

MMS Sdkfz 250/1 Alte The assembled model from the MMS 1/76 Classic series is delightful, and possibly my favourite 'Alte' version of the 250 in this scale. Detail is very fine, as usual from Barry Walby at MMS.

Al.By 1/72 Citroen Tub ambulance There is something distinctively French about this vehicle. Well cast as usual in polyurethene resin.

Al.By 1/72 Dodge Ambulance One of the first Al.By kits I ever saw, and it made me a firm fan. This is still one of my favourite all time models. Based on the ESCI Dodge chassis, which is credited underneath it.

Al.By 1/72 Hotchkiss H38 Released within the last couple of years, the quality of the resin castings is good as you'd expect. There always seems an excuse to do a more exotic camouflage finish on these early war French tanks. A change from plain olive drab!

Al.By 1/72 Latil TAR This French artillery tractor looks like the hangover it is from WW1. They were still in use in the early stages of WW2 and feature in a number of photos from the period. Casting on the wooden body in particular impressed me.

CMSC 1/76 Crusader III One of a few Crusader variants from CMSC, made in resin with detail parts in metal. These include metal lengths of track, which bend around the roadwheels to very good effect. The old Airfix kit was a bit too long and this gets the propartions that bit better. Pleaseure to put together.
